This track was released yesturday but i waited to post it because apparently there are two versions of it now. In the first version (the track leaked to the public) The Game sounded like he was dissing Eminem.. these lines in particular:
You see them 24’s spinning, I earned ‘em/and all the pictures of me and Em, I burned ‘em/ so there ain’t no proof that I ever walked through 8 Mile/and since there’s no Proof, I’ll never walk through 8 Mile
but he explained today what he was trying to do with the track and what the lyrics really meant.. here is what he said:
When I originally wrote the song “My Life” I was trying to think back on events that affected my life and how they changed me. When I first got signed to Aftermath and G-Unit I was exposed to so many different people from Dre to Em to 50 to Proof. I always identified with Proof. We were always cool and he would reach out to me when ever I was going through something I remember when Proof died vividly and now every time I think about going to Detroit I get depressed. That is what I was trying to say in that verse and the more I looked at I realized that people would take it the wrong way…the way they are taking it now that it leaked. So I decided to change it so that this bullshit wouldn’t happen and now it’s happened anyway. For the record, this is not the version on my album, this is not the version that radio will get and this is not the version that I just shot the video to. Furthermore, I apologize to anyone who took this the wrong way as that was never my intention.
I think Game did the right thing by making a different version if it was out of respect for Em, but if he is saying that he didn’t mean it that way and he goes the step to explain exactly how he wrote the lyrics then why change it. Would Eminem feel anyway about it.. would this create anything at all? Not too sure… here are the two different versions of the track:

An insider revealed: “We’re amazed to have Eminem on board. “We wanted some of the greatest artists from recent times and Eminem was on the list.
“Brian contacted Eminem’s management on the off-chance and never expected him to go for it.
“It’s going to be explosive stuff and it’s certainly a big stage to make his comeback.”
If this really goes down, it will be a very big day for Hip-Hop and for Eminem himself who has been away from the stage for a while now. Of course if this does happen and if Eminem is really working on that new album, then we will probably be getting a few tracks leaked to us. Shady was always one of the best rap live performers and never failed to do his thing on stage. Only time will tell… we will update on the story as soon as we get more. 1VIBE!

Lil Wayne was recently in London doing his thing and apparently he got mad fans down there who also threw bottles at him during a show he was doing which he then canceled. So because just about every blog has posted something about Lil Wayne and his visit to London and because its Lil Wayne time just about now with The Carter 3 around the corner, ive decided to post this video interview. Samtex and Lil Wayne discuss things such as Lil Wayne’s start in hip hop, his success and love from outside the U.S, the producers featured on The Carter 3, artist who Lil Wayne would like to work with (this is where he punks off Eminem saying he was scared to get on a record with him), his love for the syrup and party life, his first single Lollipop and The Carter 3 album. See for yourself, lol dude sippin on syrup while doing the interview!
