Boston just handled the Lakers (Boston 131 - 92 Lakers) to win their first NBA title in 22 years. This is their 17th NBA championship title. “The Dream” Paul Pierce was named the MVP of the game. Damn so i guess Kobe Bryant could not manage to do the impossible and beat the big 3. Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen both produced 26 points each and Ray Allen was able to tie the record for seven 3 pointers in a NBA Finals game. Paul Pirece dropped 17 points and Kobe Bryant disappointed me with only 22 points. I guess the idea of the Lakers winning was a bit too much but you cant blame the people for dreaming.

According to ESPN’s list of, “50 highest-earning athletes in the U.S.” Tiger Woods made $127 million last year and has grossed about $800 million in his 13 year golf career. Lebron James came in 3rd with $40.5 million($167 million over past 5 years), Mayweather is 4th with $40.2 million, Kobe Bryant made $35.5 million while Shaq is sixth with $35 million.

Damn game one was very close throughout and i must say it was a very entertaining NBA Finals opener. Paul Pierce sprained his knee but made his return shortly after and the crowd cheered for him like he was Muhammad Ali. I was very disappointed with Kobe Bryant tonight because although he gave some nice looks to his teammates he didn’t do his primary job.. SCORE MAD POINTS! Make sure you check out Game 2 on Sunday June 8th 9PM sharp.. this is bound to be a CLASSIC NBA Finals.
